What is Upper Room Assemblies International (URA)?

URA is an interdenominational fellowship organized by Dr. Ray A. King to serve as an extension of the ministry offered at the local church (advising, support, teaching, training).  

 

What is its purpose?

The purpose of URA is to offer additional leadership and support to ALL Senior Christian leaders in the church and Believers at large. This fellowship offers training, mentorship, spiritual partnership, and even apostolic covering, to those who connect with us.

 

Who can be a part?

The fellowship isn’t for preachers only. Any church, ministry, church leader or Christian Believer can be a part of this kingdom network. 

 

How do I become a part of the Fellowship?

To become a part of this fellowship is easy; contact one of our Regional Overseers or General Secretary of Affairs and they will walk you through the simple process. 

 

Are there any dues or fees?

URA has NO dues or fees. We trust that those connected with us would freely and willingly financially support the work of this fellowship.  

 

Does my local church have to be a part of URA for me to be involved?

All Christian believers are more than welcome to participate in any or all activities offered by URA. However, if your local church is not an official partner of the fellowship, please speak with your Senior Pastor/Senior Leader prior to becoming a partner of URA. We believe in operating with integrity in all matters. 

 

Does URA have authority over the local church or independent ministry?

URA has no authority over any church and/or ministry. URA is an organized fellowship to serve the corporate body of Christ and NOT to lord over any part of it. The relationship we have with all our partners are mutual in respect and submission.  

 

Is URA a conflict for those who have other obligations? 

Those who are a part of URA are welcomed to be a part of other Christian organizations, if they desire. Though some may be a part of other organizations, we ask that all partners be in attendance for Solemn Assembly in Syracuse New York (every odd year), One Day Regional Leadership Summit (every even year).
